Walter Miles are please to have secured the sub-contract for the fit-out of a new distribution facility for J D Sports plc. at Kingsway Park, Rochdale.

This project follows on from the succesful completion of the base build contract carried out for Winvic Construction for the developer, Wilson Bowden.

Work is now underway on what is to be one of the biggest warehouses to be built in the North West over the last 10 years.

Retail giant JD Sports signed up for the new 850,000sq ft development on Rochdale's flagship Kingsway Business Park in June 2010 and the facility is due to for completion in July 2011.

The electrical value of the new contract is £3.2million.
