Walter Miles Electrical were contracted to undertake the design and build for the electrical systems at the new multi-room PRS accommodation in Leicester.
The project consisted of 384 apartments spanned over a 3 tower blocks with 16 floor levels and connected via corridors and circulation areas. The ground floor areas included a retail unit and general front of house areas. The first floor had a courtyard terrace.
The ground floor included a dedicate meter room which housed all the DNOu2019s MSDBu2019s and meters. From these meters we took the supply to each apartment via multiple internal risers. General lighting, power, heating, and fire alarm was provided to each flat and common area.
Security systems were provided throughout the common areas. External lighting to the site and courtyards was installed and EV chargers to designated parking spaces.
